Day 1 SARAJEVO – ARRIVAL
Arrival at Sarajevo Airport. Transport to the hotel. Depending on time of arrival – hotel accommodation or panoramic City tour with the Latin bridge, place where the Austro Hungarian Archduke was assassinated, what triggered the First World War, visit the old town Baščaršija. Free at leisure. Overnight.
Day 2 SARAJEVO
Breakfast at hotel. Walking tour of old town Bascarsija, Bursa bezistan – covered market place; Gazi Husrev Bey’s Mosque- built in 1530 year during the Ottoman era – and Gazi Husrev Bey’s Madrasah; Morica han built in 1551 ; OPTIONAL – Lunch at Local Restaurant in the Old part (Villa Saraj Restaurant), Vijecnica – city hall for the Austro-Hungarian era.
Visit to the Spring of River Bosnia, drive pass through the suburb Ilidza, famous for its spas since the Roman period. Visit of the Spring of Bosna River which with its natural beauty, emerges at the gate of Sarajevo.
A three kilometer long avenue, bordered by plants and sweet chestnuts leads from Ilidza to the source of Bosna.
We will enjoy a beautiful and picturesque drive in horse-drawn carts to the Nature Park “Vrelo Bosne”, where we can plan the lunch time. Tunnel museum – the only way of going in and out during the siege of Sarajevo in last war. You can visit also the Trebevic Mountain and enyoj ride on newly amusement Sunny land park and ride on Alpine coaster. Back to hotel. Overnight
Day 3 SARAJEVO – KONJIC
Breakfast at hotel. (Optional) After breakfast, tour to Konjic, a small and beautiful city on Neretva river. Check in the hotel. After short rest, you will visit a city center and famous old bridge. Konjic is a city of woodcarving and over there you can find an artworks made from wood, designed by the best world woodcarvers. After sightseeing, you will visit the headquarters of rafting company, so you can have initial presentation and preparation for rafting tour. You will learn about equipment and basic information that you need for rafting to be fully safe. Overnight.
Day 4 KONJIC – RAFTING
Breakfast at hotel. (Optional) Drive to the starting point of rafting. Additional short class about rafting techniques and equipment, despite the certified skipper that will be following the group through whole day. After 2 hours of enjoying, you will have a lunch break. Having a barbecue beside river Neretva is an excellent experience. While you are waiting for the food, you can swim in Neretva. After lunch, you will continue the rafting tour that ends just below the headquarters of the rafting company. Afer you finish the rafting, you will have free time activities and we recommend you to use some excellent hotel services, like various types of spa, massages, pools and playgrounds. Overnight.
Day 5 KONJIC – MOSTAR
Transfer from Konjic to Mostar, the largest city in Herzegovina and one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country. Upon arrival, you will visit the famous UNESCO heritage – Old bridge, also famous by Jumping competetion and cliff diving place.
After Old town in Mostar, you will visit Buna. It’s a place where the river Buna rises from a cave in a rock. You can order a boat that will take you into the cave to the very source of Buna river. When you get hungry, we recommend you to go to a restaurant right on the river where you can get a freshly caught trout from the Buna river. Such sensational. Besides, the trout doesn’t cost much. Perfect. After Buna, you go back to hotel.
Day 6 MOSTAR – TRAVNIK (VLAŠIĆ MOUNTAIN)
After breakfast you departure to Travnik, since Vlasic mountain is only 30 minutes away. For over 150 years, the vizier – the Ottoman Sultan’s representative in Bosnia – had his headquarters in this town, attracting both consulates and trade. Travelersvisiting Travnik in this era were impressed by the town and called it the European Istanbul and the most oriental town in Bosnia. Upon arrival, visit of the Old Town, Museum (birth house of the famous nobel prize winner Ivo Andrić) and Sulejmanija Mosque (Colorful Mosque). (Optional) traditional lunch in Travnik , In afternoon hour’s drive bak to Vlasic Mountain. Vlasic Mountain is one of the few places that are 2000m above the sea level. Afternoon hours free time for enjoying in mountain air and preparing for next day activities. There is a possibility of organizing a lot of different activities (forest walking, baggy driving, bike driving, adrenaline park,..). OPTIONAL – Dinner at local traditional restaurant. Return to hotel.
DAY 7: VLASIC – SARAJEVO Breakfast included
Breakfast at hotel. Exploring mountain Vlasic and enjoying pure mountain air. Possible activities: horse riding, bicycling, walking. Hotel offers excellent spa treatments, with private inside pool included. Lunch can be organized at some traditional Bosnian restaurant with mountain food available.
DAY 8: SARAJEVO (departure day)
Breakfast at hotel. Check-Out. If possible, taking time for last shopping or walk in some of Sarajevo shopping malls. In afternoon hour’s drive to Sarajevo Airport for return flight.
