DAY 1: SARAJEVO (Arrival Day)        

Arrival at Sarajevo Airport, departure with all possible assistance, Airport – Hotel transfer.  Check in at 1h Free time for rest. In afternoon hours (16h) drive to the  walking Old market (Bascarsija) tour, first touch with the city with basic information. Overnight.

DAY 2: SARAJEVO CITY TOUR  – MUSEUMS & MOUNTAIN

Breakfast at hotel. MUSEUM tours. Starting with National Museum and continuing through Old market Bascarsija, Bezistan – covered market place; Gazi Husrev Bey’s Mosque- built in 1530 year during the Ottoman era – and Gazi Husrev Bey’s Madrasah; Morica han built in 1551; Latin bridge – a place where World War One was triggered; Vijecnica – City hall from the Austro-Hungarian era. In afternoon hours, drive to Olympic mountain and Sarajevo picnic area Trebevic for a walk or (OPTIONAL) lunch time. Back to hotel.  Overnight.

DAY 3: SARAJEVO – KONJIC – MOSTAR

After breakfast departure to Konjic. Presenting Neretva River which makes Herzegovina a Mediterranean oasis offering all kind of experiences: from mountainous terrain to the offerings of local villagers to religious tourism and excellent cuisine. In the Upper canyon are some of the most breath taking views in all of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is said that rafting down the Neretva river is one of the most wonderful things a person can experience. In Konjic and surrounding places there are several rafting clubs which offer an unforgettable but safe and comfortable passage through the 23 km long Neretva canyon. (RAFTING OPTIONAL*). Transfer from Konjic to Mostar, the largest city in Herzegovina and one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country.  Upon arrival, check in at hotel Villa Eden. Bed and breakfast services included. On the way to Mostar, you will be passing beside the most famous restaurant for roasted lamb meat. (OPTIONAL: we can organize a lunch on the way). Free time for private City walk or (Optional) Dinner, overnight at the hotel.

DAY 4: MOSTAR – KRAVICE WATERFALL – POCITELJ – BUNA – MOSTAR

After early breakfast at the hotel, continuation of the visit of Mostar which is proclaimed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its Old Town and Old Bridge–the famous bridge over the turquoise-green Neretva River. Get to know the city by visiting lively cafes and peaceful galleries. Find yourself a quiet spot in the yards of old mosques, go under the bridge to see famous jumpers, who maintain this tradition for decades by daring to jump from the 25m high bridge.

Departure from Mostar to Kravice waterfall and enjoy the surrounding area for approximately 1h. Drive from Kravice to the stone city of Pocitelj, a small town near Mostar and a famous art colony, which has been an inspiration for artists from all around Europe for decades. Drive from Pocitelj to the city of Blagaj, the famous historical and touristic place located in the center of Herzegovina, at the source of river Buna, 12 km away from Mostar.

Here, you will have the time to visit the beautiful and very famous darvish Tekkija (soufi lodge). The Buna Spring is one of the largest and most beautiful in Europe and is of interest to all nature lovers, especially to ‘cavers’. OPTIONAL: We suggest you to try river fish trout for a lunch.

Continuation of the drive from Blagaj to Mostar. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 5 : MOSTAR – TRAVNIK – MOUNT VLASIC

Breakfast at the hotel.

After check-out, drive to the city of Travnik. For over 150 years, vizier – the Ottoman Sultan’s representative in Bosnia – had his headquarters in this town, attracting both consulates and trade. Travelers visiting Travnik in this era were impressed by the town and called it the European Istanbul. Upon arrival, visit of the Old Town, Museum and Sulaiman Mosque (Colourful Mosque). OPTIONAL – Lunch or tea beside the “Blue water” place. After break in Travnik, departure to Vlasic mountain (45 min) and hotel Check in. Hotel Blanca is a 5* hotel and offers unique SPA and wellness services.  Most of hotel services are included in your package, so you can use all facilities and have a good rest at the hotel. Also, we recommend you to use the time at the mountain and take some mountain air in afternoon hours.

DAY 6: VLASIC –  JAJCE – PLIVA LAKE – VLASIC

After Travnik, drive to the famous waterfalls in Jajce-the city of light, stone and water. Jajce used to be a royal city. Now, it is an outdoor museum. This city is a candidate for UNESCO as well. In the town center, river Pliva is forming a magnificent, 22 meter tall waterfall. Natural resources that make Pliva river with its lakes and waterfalls, and rich cultural and historical heritage represent the unique tourist offer of Jajce. Departure to Pliva lake. (OPTIONAL- Lunch or tea at the restaurant beside the lake). We will take you to visit the small water mills complex, near the lake. Possible activities: Rent a boat, horse riding for kids, extreme sport activities, walking.. In late afternoon hours, drive back to hotel Blanca.

DAY 7:  VLASIC – TRAVNIK FORTRESS – SARAJEVO

Breakfast at the hotel. In morning hours, possibility of organizing some mountain activities (forest walking, visiting adrenaline park, baggy driving, bike driving) or simply enjoying in fresh mountain air. After check out, around 12h, departure to the beautiful Old fortress in Travnik. On the way to Sarajevo (OPTIONAL) we can organize a lunch at a traditional Bosnian restaurant. Arrival in Sarajevo in late afternoon hours.

DAY 8: SARAJEVO – MOUNTAIN BJELASNICA TOUR

Breakfast at hotel, drive to mountain Bjelasnica for a pleasant walk on the fresh air.  Bjelasnica Mountain (2,067 m) is a large mountain with spacious slopes, which are under snow cover for more than six months a year. The mountain was the site of several of the most attractive alpine ski competitions during the 14th Winter Olympic Games in 1984. The Igman Mountain (1,502 m) is located several minutes away from Bjelasnica Mountain. The mountain is prized with beautiful hiking trails and exceptionally clean air. During the Winter Olympic Games, the Igman Mountain hosted Nordic events and ski jumping competitions. The Bjelasnica and Igman Mountains are among the leading tourist attractions of Sarajevo. (OPTIONAL) Lunch in one of hotels on Bjelasnica. Also, we recommend you to try the half hour ride with the cable ropeway to the top of mountain, from where you can have a stunning view. Back to Sarajevo, free time for rest or shopping, Overnight.

DAY 9: SARAJEVO – WAR TUNNEL – RIVER BOSNA PARK

After breakfast, departure to the river Bosna park at Ilidza, drive pass through the suburb Ilidza, famous for its spa since the Roman period. A three kilometres long avenue, bordered by plants and sweet chestnuts goes from Ilidža to the source of Bosna (OPTIONAL: horse back driving).  We will enjoy a beautiful and picturesque walking through the park. After river park, departure to the famous War Tunnel museum or Tunnel of hope – the only way of going in and out during the siege of Sarajevo in last war. An interesting site which will show you the history of Bosnian last war in 1 hour of your stay. Free time for shopping in afternoon hours.

DAY 10: DEPARTURE DAY

Breakfast at hotel. Check-Out. Drive to SARAJEVO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. Return flight
