DAY 1: SARAJEVO (Arrival Day) 

Arrival at Sarajevo Airport, meet and assist at Airport, departure with all possible assistance, free at leisure. Overnight.

 

DAY 2: SARAJEVO Locco

Breakfast at hotel. Walking tour of old town Bascarsija, Brusa bezistan – covered market place; Gazi Husrev Bey’s Mosque- built in 1530 year during the Ottoman era – and Gazi Husrev Bey’s Madrasah; Morica han built in 1551 ; OPTIONAL – Lunch at Local Restaurant in the Old part (Villa Saraj Restaurant), Vijecnica – city hall for the Austro-Hungarian era.

Visit to the Spring of River Bosna, drive pass through the suburb Ilidza, famous for its spas since the Roman period. Visit of the Spring of Bosna River which with its natural beauty, emerges at the gate of Sarajevo. A three kilometer long avenue, bordered by plants and sweet chestnuts leads from Ilidza to the source of Bosna. You will enjoy a beautiful and picturesque drive in horse-drawn carts to the Nature Park “Vrelo Bosne”, where you can plan the lunch time. Tunnel museum – the only way of going in and out during the siege of Sarajevo in last war. Back to hotel. Overnight.

DAY 3: SARAJEVO – KONJIC – MOSTAR 

After breakfast departure to Konjic. Presenting Neretva River which makes Herzegovina a Mediterranean oasis offering all kinds of experiences: from mountainous terrain to the offerings of local villagers to religious tourism and excellent cuisine. In the Upper canyon are some of the most breathtaking views in all of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is said that rafting down the Neretva river is one of the most wonderful things a person can experience.

Transfer from Konjic to Mostar, the largest city in Herzegovina and one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country. Upon arrival, check in at hotel. Bed and breakfast services included. At free at leisure for private City walk or (Optional) Dinner, overnight at the hotel

DAY 4: MOSTAR – KRAVICE WATERFALL – POCITELJ – MOSTAR

After early breakfast at the hotel, continuation visit of Mostar which is proclaimed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its Old Town and the Stari Most (Old Bridge) – the famous bridge over the turquoise-green Neretva River. Get to know the city by visiting lively cafes and peaceful galleries. Find yourself a quit spot in the yards of old mosques, go under the bridge to see famous jumpers, who maintain this tradition for decades by performing daring jumps from the 24 m high bridge. Time for enjoying Mostar. Departure from Mostar to Kravice. Here you will have time to experience the beautiful waterfalls Kravice and enjoy the surrounding area for approximately 30 minutes. Drive from Kravice to city of Pocitelj, a small town near Mostar and a famous art colony, which has been representing an inspiration and asylum for artists from all around Europe for decades. Pocitelj is the place that will arouse even the best-hidden emotions and fascinate with its tranquility and beauty for all time. After arrival (Optional) Lunch at MUTA’S restaurant. After that will have the time to make a visit tour of the accommodation capacities. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 5: MOSTAR – BLAGAJ – MOSTAR (Sightseeing)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to the city of Blagaj, the famous historical and touristic place located in the core of Herzegovina, in the source of the river Buna, 12 km away from Mostar. Here you will have the time to visit the beautiful and very famous dervish Tekija (lodge), the building that is the widely known and renowned and it can be combined with several other tourist attractions in Blagaj. The Buna Spring is one of the largest and most beautiful in Europe and is of interest to all nature lovers, especially to ‘cavers’ who still have not fully explored the mysterious underground of this veritable water miracle in the heart of Herzegovina. Continuation of the drive from Blagaj to Mostar for shopping. Overnight at hotel

DAY 6: MOSTAR – TRAVNIK – VLASIC (Romantic hotel package)

Breakfast at hotel. Check-out,  driving about 60 min to the city of Travnik. For over 150 years, the vizier – the Ottoman Sultan’s representative in Bosnia – had his headquarters in this town, attracting both consulates and trade. Travelers visiting Travnik in this era were impressed by the town and called it the European Istanbul and the most oriental town in Bosnia. Upon arrival, visit of the Old Town, Museum (birth house of the famous nobel prize winner Ivo Andric) and Sulejmanija Mosque (Colorful Mosque). (Optional) traditional lunch in Travnik , In afternoon hour’s drive to Vlasic Mountain. (cca. half an hour). Vlasićc Mountain is one of the few places that are 2000m above the sea level .Afternoon hours free time for enjoying in mountain air. There is a possibility of organizing a lot of different activities (forest walking, baggy driving, bike driving,..). OPTIONAL – Dinner at local traditional restaurant. Return to hotel.

DAY 7: VLASIC  (Romantic hotel package)

Breakfast at hotel. Exploring mountain Vlasic and enjoying romantic moments with pure mountain air. Possible activities: various types of spa, massages, pool, horse riding, bicycling, walking. Hotel offers excellent spa treatments, with private inside pool included. Lunch can be organized at some traditional Bosnian restaurant with mountain food available.

DAY 8: VLASIC – BIHAC

Breakfast at hotel. Check-Out. Drive to Bihac. Upon arrival, check-In the hotel. (Optional) Lunch in Bihac, free time for relaxation.

City tour of Bihac. Visit Captain’s Tower, Ottoman turbe, Fethija Mosque and enjoy amazing river Una (pearl of the Bosnia and Herzegovina). In the evening, it can be organized  a romantic dinner in the famous restaurant on the Una river coast. Overnight.

DAY 9: BIHAC (National park Una)

Breakfast at hotel. (Optional) After breakfast tour to amazing Natural park Una. The legend says that when ancient Romans for the first time saw picturesque beauty and hearing the murmur of Unas waterfalls, exclaimed: “UNA”, which in Latin means one, or the only, or – perhaps unique.

You will visit waterfall of Martinbrod and amazing “Strbacki Buk”, one of the highest waterfalls in this part of Europe (18m).

Una will steal your heart for sure. Free at leisure. Enjoy Bihac. Overnight.

DAY 10: BIHAC – PLIVA LAKE – SARAJEVO

Breakfast at hotel, drive to the Pliva lake. Time for a break and lunch. Five kilometers away from Jajce there are beautiful Pliva lakes and in the middle separated with bunch of amazing mills built during the Ottoman era.

Amongst the people they are known as “mlincici” (small mills). Today mostly ouf of order but still amazing to see how they split up two lakes.
At these lakes we would strongly recommend doing some swimming, fishing, canoeing or kayaking (in 1963. World and European Championship in kayaking and canoeing on still waters were held on Pliva lakes).
Pliva lake offers various types of outdoor activities such as canoeing, walking, adrenaline activities. Back to Sarajevo, free at leisure, Overnight.

DAY 11: SARAJEVO SIGTHSEEING AND SHOPPING DAY

 

Breakfast at the hotel. Visiting Sarajevo most beautiful viewpoints and discovering the spirit of local living areas called MAHALA.

(OPTIONAL) Organizing a breathtaking lunch or/and dinner at one of the best restaurants in Sarajevo PARK OF THE PRINCES or KIBE restaurant.

 

After lunch, visits to the malls in Sarajevo and enjoy shopping.

DAY 12: SARAJEVO (Departure day)

Breakfast at hotel. Check-Out. If possible, taking time for last shopping or walk in some of Sarajevo shopping malls. In afternoon hour’s drive to Sarajevo Airport for return flight.
